18 Again Golf League

League Rules
-
We run double par as a max for all holes. For example if you are on a par 4 the max you can now get on the hole now would be an 8, if you are on a par 3 the max you can now get is a 6.
-
Ringer rule. Any sub that does not have a registered GIN number will only be allowed to come in at a 9 handicap.
-
Max Handicap is 15.
-
On holes 7, 9, 13 & 14 the white stakes will now be played as red lateral hazard stakes. Other team you are playing has to agree to the placement of the lateral hazard placement.
-
For during the playoff’s a sub has to of played either twice in the current active season or a combined four times between the year before and current year season.
-
During the playoff’s your handicap will lock the start of the last week of regular season and will not change from then through the playoff’s.
-
Emergency situation rule. If a league player has a situation come up and are unable to attend league play that night last minute you can put a request in to Brent that will then be reviewed with Steven, Matt, Dave & Brent to decide if the situation warrants approval for a ghost player that will not harm your team for that week’s play for team points.
-
For the individual player award each season it will now be based of the best 10 week average for the individual winner.
-
Each player first week will have to sign off that they are personally responsible if you damage the course or carts. (current returning players are already on file signed off)
-
If you are up on the green some teams will give the opponent a gimme putt. This is up to the person you are playing against and the team you are playing against. If you are 2 - 3 feet away or whatever the position and distance on the green. You can ask the person you are playing against if they want to give you gimme putt. If they say yes, you can pick it up or they may make you putt it out. For example you are on the green in 4 shots, if the player you are playing tells you to pick it up or is giving you gimme me putt then you would finish the hole at 5.
-
It should take two hours and ten minutes for a round, Keep up with the group in front of you at all times, please do not straggle behind causing a big gap between you and the group in front of you so keep the pace of play so everyone has a good time.
-
When looking for lost ball do not spend more than three minutes.
-
-
If your ball goes into a bunker and it is out of sand or on or near a rock you may adjust your placement in that bunker with the agreement of the other team you are playing.
-
All players are expected to play in the spirit of the game by:
-
Acting with integrity. For example, by following the Rules, applying all penalties, and being honest in all aspects of play.
-
Showing consideration to others. For example, by playing at a prompt pace, looking out for the safety of others, and not distracting the play of another player.
-
Taking good care of the course. for example, by replacing divots, smoothing bunkers, repairing ball-marks, and not causing unnecessary damage to the course.
